History in Brief

CDG was established in 1993 as the first independent Pro/ENGINEER consultancy in the UK. Our knowledge of Pro/ENGINEER dates back to version 4 when Pro/ENGINEER first became available to UK companies in 1989. We have invested heavily in people and technology to provide comprehensive, responsive and quality products and services to our customers. The company has grown from providing Pro/ENGINEER consultancy, training and engineering design services into a complete provider of support to users of Pro/ENGINEER, Mechanica and Intralink. Our goal remains one of helping users to achieve real productivity through the best use of the technology - with this being achieved by focusing on people skills, advanced use of the software and implementation of high performance systems.

In April 2001 we took over Professional Engineering Support Services to maintain our position as the largest independent provider of Pro/ENGINEER training and consultancy in the UK.

1993	company formed
1994	introduced Pro/E consultancy & Pro/E training services
1995	introduced engineering design services
1996	introduced systems integration services
1997	became CEP registered with PTC (certified engineering provider)
1998	introduced Intralink consultancy & training services achieved CEP level 2 status introduced simulation services using 3D Studio Max
1999	CADTrain approved CDG as reseller for UK selected as ICAM reseller for UK introduced Mechanica consultancy & training
2000	won first contract in US
2001	opened Manchester office took over Professional Engineering Support Services shortlisted for ProAWARDS competition received award from ProFILES magazine
2002	Moved into larger offices in Alton, Hampshire
2003	signed up as ZCorp reseller
2004	signed up as Geomagic & Breuckmann reseller
2005	signed up as DeskArtes & 3DSom reseller
