Course Description

ISDX has not been introduced to replace the standard surfacing functionality within Pro/ENGINEER but to enhance the capabilities of creating complex surfaces. The new functionality provides a method of generating free-form curves (splines) and surfaces that accelerates the time to conceptualise designs and incorporate / evolve into a solid part.

This guide will attempt to show the user the techniques involved in creating free form surfaces for Reverse Styling, Conceptual Design and Engineering Design.
